Signed up to Birdguides last year as taken up the hobby again but is it a site for extra rare birds or extra rare birds at birding sites/ prepared habitats?
Put on a couple of spottings including Redpoll, Siskin and Wood Wabler ( Wood Warbler was also put up last year on the site which made the listings) that have not even got a mention.
Seems anything that arrives in numbers at certain sites gets a look in but UK rarities, as above which are not everyday birds, seem to be ignored?
Is ebird any better for sharing sightings?
Kind Regards, Rees
