Ethiopian Buteo (1 Viewer)

I took these Buteo images way back in 2013 in southern Ethiopia and have never been able to narrow down the ID. One thought was a juvenile Red-necked Buzzard but never confirmed so I'd appreciate any thoughts. Many thanks2013_11_18_6623.jpg2013_11_18_6628.jpg
 
Bill may be a bit big but otherwise good for augur buzzard: underpart pattern, relatively short tail/long wings, hint of tail colour.
 
I agree: juvenile Augur, pattern on side of throat and heavy barring in secondaries all perfect. And by very far the most common Raptor in Ethiopia
