Hi
I have an Olympus E500 with both the kit lenses and want to get a lens to try taking some bird photographs and for some general wildlife stuff when I go to Canada for my hols later in the year. At the moment I cant run to the £700 that the Sigma Bigma will be when it finally arrives but I thought about maybe getting a 4/3 to OM adaptor and picking up say an OM system Zuiko Auto-T 1:4.5 f=300mm from eBay or similar. Would this have a long enough reach for birding and as it aprime not a zoom would that be much off a disadvantage (I guess the optics would be clearer than a zoom).
Thanks
Pat
