Ghana bird (2 Viewers)

I spotted this bird far off in the top of a tree in Ashanti area. It looks like a cuckoo to me, but expert advice would be appreciated, many thanks in advance.

The only think I can come up with that's remotely similar is Diederic Cuckoo?

Hi Butty. The shot was taken on 10th October, I did take a few more shots but this was the best, the bird was 150 metres away.

Could it be a juvenile Thick-billed Cuckoo?

Any additional images (irrespective of quality) may be useful in obtaining an ID - if you're happy to share more, there may be some clinching detail present you (or others - including myself) may have overlooked.
