Park up along Chalk Pit Lane at the pull in area next to track that runs to Choseley Barns. View in field opposite the track (with sea/coast on horizon) and they are usually in that field, a fair way out, but good scope views. Get there early morning for better views, before the sun becomes too glaring.

Morning all.

Short visit to the Arboretum this morning produced a spotted flycatcher (in the trees near the volunteers hut) and 2 firecrest, in the conifers down the track just before the toilet.

Best wishes,

Raptor persecution debate Ticket for sale

Hi all

I have a ticket for tonights 'tooth and claw' raptor persecution debate at Norwich cathedral. Unfortuately I cannot attend so I'm looking to sell the ticket for face value - £10.00 if anybody is interested?

I live in North Norwich and I'm happy to meet anybody if they want it.

Joe

I got an invite to visit a friend who told me that they have barn owls in the field behind them and that they come into the garden... they weren't joking!

The Serpentine, just East of the East Bank is providing some goodly waders....new in this morning was a red-necked phalarope, seen as a dot earlier on Watling Water, which was supported by the Pectoral Sandpiper, Little Stint and Curlew Sandpiper.
Just been updated that there are now 2 Pecs and 2 Curlew Sands but stints have moved on.
