and the upguarding duck, is a teal. Eclipse male starting to turn up breeding plumage to be precise!

Chiffchaff is correct well done, note the clean primaries with no wingbar, and the pale eye rings. Race not sure, but presumed collybita based on general jizz, but could be abeitinus, but this is unikely based on location and scarcity of the subspecies.
Heres another pic of the bird, no detail can be picked out but you can tell its a Phylly at least
