Hi i have been reading with interest some articles on the leica digilux 1 camera connected to a apo televid 77 using leica's own adapter, does anyone have any comments on this setup or the camera which i know nothing about, it sounds like a dream come true ,a totally compatable setup from one great company,is it sales talk ?or is it the latest innovation in the world of digiscoping any help paul

From Andy Bright's website www.digiscoped.com :

Leica: Leica have their own complete digiscoping set-up involving their Digilux 1 4mp camera together with an adapter to connect to their eyepieces. I had a play with this set-up. Extremely disappointing performance, only recommended for use on their 20x e.p's and then with plenty of vignetting at all camera zoom positions, bar full wide angle. Zoom control on the camera was poorly situated for the digiscoper at the front of the camera. Be wary of anyone who recommends this camera for digiscoping,
