Red-tailed Pennant, Male
Red-tailed Pennant (Brachymesia furcata: Libellulidae) male. 3.8-4.6 cm (1.5-1.8 in) long.
Habitat
Gulf Coat Marshes and Prairies vegetation area, manicured park with scattered oaks, hackberry and elm trees. Wide drainage ditch with a riparian, small swamp and open made made pond at 8 m (26 ft) elevation.
Location
Elva Lobit Park, League City, Galveston County, Texas, USA.
