Hamerkop dining. (Scopus umbretta)

The Hamerkop did manage to swallow this fish eventually, but it took a good 10 minutes. Photo is from a 5 week trip around Ethiopia in April 2019. Wonderful country for birds - managed to get shots of 165 different birds, and this was not, primarily, a birding tour. Lots of other great things to see as well: scenery, culture, people....
