A FOS at last
For weeks I knew these guys were around as I'd heard them singing... but try as I might, I wasn't able to get a picture.

This was the only one I managed and sadly it was rather distant. It was a picture taken of a blob in the hope that it was LOL

can hear its sweet song, Delia!!! unfortunately we only have them here in winter. great photo in its gorgeous natural habitat, top class, many tfs!!!!

Girl, I think you mean Bunting, not "Bunging" under keywords ;)

Meanwhile, this is one awesome image of this Reed Bunting and stands out beautifully in that setting. Congrats on your first of the season D.
 
nice one delia,i watched a breeding pair several years ago from the east hide,the female on approaching the nest landed on several different perches looking around each time before eventually landing on the nest,the male had a different approach,he flew directly to the nest fed the chicks then repeated the process
