Bird Fair 2008 - Simon, Bill and David A.!!! (1 Viewer)

Hi Penny

Simon was in fine spirits today ,bought one of the calendars that he had for sale for my sister in law,she is nearly as mad on him as you :)
Had a great day out the guys at the Pentax stand were great cant wait for next year .

Doesn't his face have a slight hint of someone mauled by a Hyena or two? :-O
Yeah, I´m surprised that SK is a pin-up guy. I´m sure he´s very nice and all that, but he wouldn´t be my idea of Mr. Right. If I were looking for Mr. Right. Which I´m not. (Darn, this could get complicated). Great account of the day, Penny, I wish I could have been there. We´ve nothing comparable over here.

Hi Penny

Thank you for sharing your day with us (I was there myself today with OH)

Loved to read your report, and look at you pictures

Brushed shoulders with Bill Oddie myself but he was too busy to talk, so I continued on around the Marque

I met the people that you mentioned on the Fair Isle stall (Pic 4 - Post 8)and had a little chat myself. What lovely people.

Yes, SK has got an effect on some of us ladies. Swoon :eek!:

lol Penny you obviously are quite keen on Simon King ;). Nice pics of all the different people and stands. I'm surprised to see Jonathan Scott there, I thought he lived in Kenya, so it must be a long way for him to come.

Hi Tom

Best Wishes Penny:girl:

Penny,
Very nice shots. Think the best is "Mr & Mrs" King. He does look extremely personable and nice, now I see why the ladies are gaga over him.
Glad the weather remained nice for the fair.

Hi Lisa

Thank you very much:t: ...... yes I think thats the best shot too!!!;)

Best Wishes Penny:girl:

He always seems to be in fine spirits, such a happy soul.

The Bird Fair just has a great 'buzz' about it - it just feels fantastic to be amongst so many people with the same interest, it feels like one massive family all merging together for a spectacular celebration. Its just a brilliant social event and in my case this weekend, a costly one!

Best Wishes Penny:girl:

Great pics Penny - you were obviously the official Simon King photographer this year !!

Sandra

Hi Sandra

Thanks:t: I just love photography and especially taking people, trying to achieve that natural look. Bill Oddie does not tend to smile that much for photos, I caught him laughing at something in between posed shots, lucky for me!

Best Wishes Penny:girl:

Well no, he wouldn't be my type normally - mine would be Johnny Depp as the pirate in Pirates and the Carribbean BUT Simon is just unique, there's just something about him.
