kit lens versus pancake
I received my pancake lately and made some qualitytest comparing the 14-45 mm kit lens and the new 20 mm pancake.
I use “Stephen H.Westin / test chart for use with ISO 12233 Electronic still picture cameras”.
See both pictures. I see hardly a difference between both lenses. Both lenses are good, if not very good, I think.
I also tried the pancake before the new 25-50x oculars from Leica and Swarovski and with both digiscoping is good possible I believe. For 25 mm only a tiny black edge is seen which is not due to vignetting but is caused bi y a bit to small viewangle, not a realy problem I think. From say 30 mm the complete view is well.
