wheatear made it to gwent yesturday and onto my year list this afternoon. in fact there were two including one having a sing.

Quick look around the bird info services today shows a few Swallows, Sand Martin at 10 sites, a couple of LRPs and a small fall of migrants at Portland.

Hoopoe at Portland bill today!
I had Chiffchaff in North Oxon yesterday, also Sand martins seen in Oxon and Warks.
I missed three sand martins today at Cannop ponds, Glos.

One reported at Pagham Hbr on Mar 10th.

Loads of Sand Martins around the country today. Willow Warbler at Portland today. Sandwich Terns in Kent yesterday, and today in Dorset and Northumberland.
