Chris Packham is now back in the UK after he was questioned for four hours by police in Malta as he tried to film the illegal hunting of migrating birds. He was questioned after the hunters demanded the police investigate his alleged defamation against them. He voluntarily attended the police station where he was questioned.

Packham said rare species are being targeted, and hunters were even shooting Montagu's harrier birds on the ground at night.

I seen his tweet yesterday, like he says if some good comes out of the questioning it will be worthwhile. Take my hat of to him and his team for trying at least.

It is good that Malta's name is being continually dragged through the mud - the government deserve this until they control what is happening.

They are a total disgrace and the country and all it produces should be avoided

I would imagine that this could galvanise Chris' resolve in the Malta issue.

Let's hope he was not charged with anything.
