I guess pretty quiet in everyone’s gardens and yards?
Plenty of the garden residents active but not alot else at the moment.

Carrion Crows have been mobbing the local Buzzards, Kites and Ravens here.

Has been busy with Magpies, Jackdaws & Starlings at the feeders.
So we bought one of those inflatable hot tubs for the children o
Yesterday whilst sat in it we had 2! flyover Mallards. Today we watched the Male and female Bullies; a Heron flew over; and best of all, a Wood Warbler sang in the tree next to the house.

Male Siskin has been putting in an appearance over the last couple of days. Nesting Coal Tits and Great Tits are back and fore regularly.
Female Siskin today along with a Goldcrest. M+F Bullfinches still putting in an appearance and I could hear a Cuckoo calling at lunchtime.

When I was in my summerhouse yesterday I saw Woodpigeon at the peanuts and fatball feeders, Blue Tit at the seed feeder, Starling at the coconut feeder as well as my Great Spotted Woodpecker. My woodpecker was back at the coconut feeder this morning as well as having a drink at the bird bath.
Coal Tits are back and fore to the nest with caterpillars. Appears the eggs might have hatched.

Cracking hour in the garden yesterday morning. 2 Male Bullies. Pair of LTT‘’s with nesting material. House Martins and Swallows over. A Wren belting out a tune along with Blackcaps, Song Thrush etc.

Congrats on the garden lifer btw. A colleague of mine had one a few years ago and there was one at the Fendrod (Swansea) last year but I’ve not heard of one in my area (Neath).
