Looking at staying here next April. Mixed reviews on Tripadvisor and not much up to date information here. Anyone add something new? We are obviously interested in birds.

Ignore the reviews, it’s wonderful we stayed there in the Mangrove Lodge for a week last month. Naturetrek have already rebooked there for 12 weeks next season.

No worries, Mandina is what it is a little rough round the edges but that’s part of its charm.
I would assume the negative reviews reflect that , all about expectations I guess. The location is what sells it for me, I will definitely go back.

I think we are going to head up to tendala which is even rougher around the edges
