Genus: Cutia
Description
This genus contains two species, the colourful Cutias from SE-Asia.
Not only this genus stands out with its delightful colours but also in showing sexual dimorphism. The rictal bristles are very short, the bill decurved and the uppertail-coverts are greatly developed.
Taxonomy
Cutia is a genus in the Family Leiothrichidae.
It was formerly included in the family Timaliidae.
