Genus: Tylas
Description
This genus contains only one species, the Tylas Vanga from Madagascar.
Taxonomy
Tylas is a monotypic genus in the family Vangidae.
In the past this genus has been placed within the bulbuls, Old World orioles, thrushes or starlings. Recent molecular-genetic research suggest that it does belong to the Vangidae.
