Distribution

Southeast Asia: found in Indochina, Myanmar, Thailand, Malaysia, Malay Peninsula, Brunei, Singapore, Island of Borneo, Indonesia, Greater Sundas, Sumatra, Java, Lesser Sundas and Bali.

Taxonomy

Formerly placed in the genus Coracina.

Subspecies

There are 5 Subspecies^[1]:

• L. f. neglecta:

• Southern Myanmar and peninsula Thailand

• L. f. culminata:

• Southern Malay Peninsula

• L. f. schierbrandi:

• Sumatra and Borneo

• L. f. compta:

• Simeulue and Siberut islands (off western Sumatra)

• L. f. fimbriata:

• Java and Bali
