Key West Quail-Dove (1 Viewer)

I'd even take a day trip but 14 hours one way is just not in the works. Nice looking bird, for a dove, that is. Seems like it is staying put.

I saw the bird at the Charles Deering Estate on December 28 (2014) and January 1st (2015). Quail-Doves are among the most beautiful and rewarding birds to see in this region...

A Quail-Dove in Miami and at least one in the Keys. Are they more common than eBird shows them to be or is this a unusual season?
