Bean-bag fillers (1 Viewer)

I have previously never used a bean-bag, relied on tripods. But on my next trip to the Sanibel islands, Florida, will be using a bean-bag bought from Wildlife supplies, UK. What is the best filler I can buy/use locally that will act as good and stable support in the bean-bag. Guidance based on personal experiences would be most useful.
Thanks

Hello Gautam

Try tic beans they are sold to racing pigeon fanciers for food they work very well, not expensive to purchase.

Regards, Roy.

I don't know if this is two late for you, but I use rice, but I kept the bean bag in the boot of the car which developed a leak. Yep, did that rice swell or did it swell.

I use rice in my bean bag. It helps if you cook it (dry) in a microwave for 5 minutes - tends to reduce it's absorbancy in damp conditions.

Another vote for rice and heavy is good for stability.

That is a good tip...going to try that!
