Help Identifying Carl Zeiss Jena Binoculars (1 Viewer)

If anyone could tell me anything about these Zeiss Jena binoculars it would be very much appreciated. Picked them up recently and would like more information. Thanks in advance!!!!!

Hi,

first of all, welcome to birdforum!

Could you please search for any inscriptions (model info on the right prism housing and serial number at the front of the bridge joint) and take detail shots if you find any?

Also we could use some measurements like objective diameter, a guess of magnification (compare with a modern pair of known magnification) and overall length...

My guess based on the available images would be a 6x30 Silvamar or a military version of it...

Welcome,

Looking at the pictures, I immediately thought 6x30 with optics in good unscratched condition.
Brass material?
I don't know the individual Zeiss models.

I did see straight away an unusual feature at the side of the front axle, which seems to be a locking screw.

I am in no way a Zeiss expert, but the dates above seem reasonable.
