Morning all

Up at my new hide this morning and didn't expect to see anything, as I am still getting the area established. Anyway, I took the camera just in case and was pleasantly suprised to see a lot of activity at this fairly new hide location.

I am wondering if this is a Willow Tit...?

Can the experts confirm for me please...? thanks,

Two tone cheeks, pale spot at base of bill and generally sleeker shape (not bull-necked) point to this being a Marsh.

It must be autumn again....

First-winter Marsh Tit.

It's a Marsh Tit because you can clearly see it has pale cutting edges on BOTH mandibles (the upper being the operative one), and it is a first-winter because you can see a moult limit on the greater coverts (the inner 4 are shorter than the rest).
