Abbe-Koenig prisms in compacts (1 Viewer)

I wonder of these will ever be utilized in a compact binocular. If one of their merits is brightness than I think there could be some benefit there. It might add a cm or so to overall length but many of the best compacts are so tiny to begin with that is not really a problem in my book. I'd ask for a 6x24 but others have expressed interest in a 7x25. Does anyone think there is a chance of these prisms ever being used in compacts?
