Just spent nine days drifting around Cambs, Suffolk then Norfolk. Unfortunately my scope went missing at Thornham Harbour on Wednesday afternoon (09/01/2019) and that stopped my birding, which was unfortunate as I was going to continue up the Lincs coast then into Yorkshire via Spurn. any way this is my list so far:
This afternoon I stopped by a nearby farm pond. It’s almost completely frozen over, with just a small patch of open water. However, that little bit of water is just what water birds need, and some good ones were congregated there.
