Hello!!

I need some advice and information...Im looking for a backpack to put all my gear, (scope:leica 77 apo, straight+ tripod+camera+stuff!!) I do alot of walking/climbing trips ...and I often need my hands!!

Ive searched the net and the forums, but im still confused! Its seems that only lowepro exists!!!
Will my scope fit in the lowepro's naturetrekker?

Nadine,
Try the warehouse express website http://www.warehouseexpress.com/ they do lowepro, heritage, Swaro and Tamrac with the measurements so you should be able to work out which size you want. Cullman also used to make one which i use when on my motorbike but i strap the tripod on seperate as i don't trust the straps.

Hello, you may like to check out the range from LowePro.

I have the Photo Trekker AW which I’ve had for a few years now. It’s been fine carrying my medium format camera system and tripod about. I would think the larger sacks are capacious enough to take a scope too!

There are different bags in the range and if you fancy one from LowePro, or any similar design, I would recommend finding a supplier and trying them out for size. You need to see them ‘in the flesh’ as it were, to get a better idea of the capacity and layout.

Hi Nadine

If you don't want to travel lite but do want a comfortable daysac I would recommend having a look at the Kibo 40 made by Lifeventure. It's well constructed and very comfortable to carry.

I get a Pentax 80 Scope and Sherpa 750 tripod in the back main compartment and camera bag with CP4500 and binos in the front main compartment. The front main compartment also has 2 inner zipped pockets for bits and pieces. This still leaves yet another pocket for field guide, sandwiches etc and there are 2 side mesh pockets for flask etc. Both main pockets are zipped to about 3/4 of the way down the sides for easy access. To improve it slightly I cut up a rollmat and velcroed it to the inside of the 2 big compartments to provide permanent padding for my optics.

You can walk all day with this beast and the best price I can currently find is £40 at the link below:
