As a new birder i've been having trouble with the identification of similar birds.

So, i've been trying to learn and look for little tips and trick on how to ID them. But..I still can't find a way to tell the Sharp-Shinned Hawk apart from the Coopers Hawk.

Is there and subtle differences I can look for?

Thanks in advance.

How to distinguish between these 2 species is probably the single most common question in the Bird ID Q & A forum. Browse the archives for this forum & you'll find all the information on this subject you could possibly need.
