Any advice for locations for a holiday that combines good birding with options for chilling out and good food. My wife and I are both in our sixties and have recently been to Costa Rica and Thailand and would be glad of some suggestions. Early October is our next trip.
 
How is about northern Argentina ?
Lot of local birds and also migrants.
Good places are e.g. Parc nationales Calilegua, PN El Ray, Natural Monument Laguna Los Pozuelas, PN Formosa, PN Grand Chaco, PN Mburucuya, PN Ibera, Park Provencienjales Uruguai and so on.
