Any of you find folks out there have suggestions on a travel tripod and head that would compliment the mm3 60mm travel scope? I have a Benro tripod and Manfrotto 128RC head but that is way too much for this scope along with my tripod which will hold up to 20 pounds or so.

Ideas appreciated..... also, a low cost would be nice, jim

Off the top, I would suggest a Velbon Ultra Rexi L tripod with Manfrotto 700RC2 head. The 128 head is, as you say, overkill for the MM3; the 700RC2 is the equal of it at half the weight, is superbly made and will comfortably support a far heavier scope should you change up in the future.
