I would appreciate identification of this bird. Leaning towards Whimbrel. I have had to process the photos heavily to get something viewable. Taken today at Barbbate, SW Spain. Thank you

Your pictures nicely show the longer legs of this curlew. Whimbrel legs would not show beyond the tail as much as your bird, if at all.
