Bird list programs (1 Viewer)

Are there any computer programs that are good for compilling world lists? I've seen a couple around but was wondering which was is the best. Thanks.

I think many people use either Microsoft Excel or Access. The latter if kind of difficult to learn, but I find that Excel is quite easy and works well for me.

If you just want a simple world list, English and scientific names, based on Clements and his updates, then I have it on a spreadsheet geared up to count crosses in columns. A few Brit birders have got copies from me and have all seemed pleased with how easy it is to use.

I use Wildlife Computing's product as advertised in Birdwatch.

I have used it for years. They have been very patient with all my self-induced problems etc.

Not really compared it to others as I have always been happy with it.
