Most of you will be aware of this bird which again visited my garden yesterday. The main garden it is seen in across the raod from Muirhead Activity Centre and in the corner to the right in the garder nex to the one by the Scotland flag is where it most frequents.
This garden is owned by my wifes cousin and he has no qualms about people looking in the hedge for the bird at a reasonable distance. There have been cases of birders peering through the fence, and sticking cameras over the top to photograph it.He feels this is an invasion of privacy and is ready to turn the garden hose on those who persist.
Over and above that I have noticed the bird is far more nervous when it visits my garden than it was at first, and feel it is showing signs of stress because of over-zealous birders getting too close.
Stop and think for a second and don't allow yourself to get carried away.
