Black Vulture? or Turkey Vulture? (1 Viewer)

I'm thinking Black Vulture. Short tail, black head.

But maybe it is an immature Turkey Vulture?

Anyone wish to weigh in? Am I missing any field marks?

Sorry about the poor photo, i'm working on my photo skills at the same time I am working on my identification skills.

Thanks,

Jon

My reference book indicates that both adult and immature Turkey Vultures have pinkish legs. I'd say your bird is a Black Vulture based on the lack thereof. There may be some less obvious field marks that I'm missing, though.

Its defenitely a black. the bill and head are bigger than in a turkey and the bare skin goes down to the neck, where in turkey vulture the featherless skin only covers the head
