Canon 400mm lens (1 Viewer)

From my understanding the 400mm f2.8 L is the top of the 400mm lenses with regard to image quality. Also note that a new version of this lens is also being released sometime next year - and its optical charts are highly impressive and suggest that its superior over the current version.

I have try a 400DO recently and to tell the truth, the result amaze me. Very very fast AF, crisp picture with good microcontrast and the best... the weight. Hand held it's one of the more pleasant one. Next will be the 400 f5.6, very sharp good contrast, much of my gallery are made with that one. the only downside it's the lack of IS, wich mean you have to use a tripod much of the time.
