Power supply (1 Viewer)

Help please! I have ordered a 12v 40w system from PB, wanting to take it on holiday as well use around home so a nice neat power supply, could use truck battery but do not want to drain that, looked at the Lithium-ion 14Ah or 22Ah, but was advised that this may not work for long enough overnight and the moths will escape if the trap goes off overnight?
Any suggestions and what do others use?

I use the 14Ah Li-Ion battety on my 15w Actinic - lasts about 12 hours (just about two nights). I think that the 40W bulb is probably just too powerful to be run off a battery, a mains system would definitely be better for home use. I think there are some moth suppliers who sell conversion kits.

Hope this helps!

Thankyou, I may have to reach a compromise, when I am home could look at a conversion kit or the standard type battery, but will look at the larger lithium, may have to save for a bit longer for that one!
