The egret colony at La Janda became one of the main attractions this last spring. Just a suggestion to fellow birders and photographers: please, stay in the car and don't linger to avoid disturbing the birds.

Portugal, this summer 29 july, along the road, a traffic light stop my run. On the right i see a a little group of tree, like a "garzaia", when the traffic light became green I turn right and stop my car along the road in front of this trees and I have spent an half hour to capture...
Outside the airport in Antigua sits this designed thing, which may be a sculpture or have some other function I don't know about. Seeing the egrets look like they belonged in the design was a little funny to me
This dark bird has been around for a while according to what I have been told. This is my best photo so far, through a fence and across the runway of an airstrip, so I could not get closer. Maybe another day.
