    The chickadees put so much effort into opening sunflower seeds. Sometimes I wonder if it's worth it for them, but considering how much they eat, I guess it is. lol

    Yeah it's another chickadee picture, sorry. But sometimes it's just too cute not to take a photo of. Like the tiny natural arch this one decided to perch under! Unfortunately the brain damaged autofocus of my camera wanted to look at the branch instead of the bird, but it still looks like a cute...

    When I put bird seed out, I measure it out in a small cup. I have noticed lately that when I fill the feeders, the chickadees are swarming closer and closer. If they'd allow it, I can most times quite literally reach out and touch them! Today I had my camera with me, and as I extended the cup...

    Thanks to all for the nice comments you leave me for my humble efforts with my humble camera! It's much appreciated! Still raining hard, although my camera doesn't pick up the raindrops that well. Chickadee still has the water rolling off it's back like a duck. lol

    This chickadee was quite annoyed his brekkie was not out early was like 2 away and squawking away until I got the suet hung. Pigged out for a few minutes and flew away.
