    While we were driving back to home ... on Airport road ... we noticed this spectacle in the sky ... involving hundreds of individual Starlings they even overtook an airplane heading for nearby Delhi Airport 5.45 pm

    This starling with crossed mandibles is one of many starlings/birds at the feeders in my parents´ garden. Found its feather shake quit funny and decided to give it a monochrome look.

    Not helped by the wet weather. However this style went on for weeks. I'm not sure if it's an odd moult or if he'd been in a battle with something. Thought this would do for my Saturday Fun entry this week. TTTW

    the Starlings were harvesting their own section of the hedge. They weren't all that keen on posing where I could see them, though.

    During August and early September most of the birds desert my garden but every now and then a whole load of Starlings descend. Here's just a portion of them, think there were about 3 times as many as I've got here. Right little piggies for my SF picture. TTTW

    A load of young Starlings flocking together plotting their next raid on my window feeder!! This was most of the ringleaders, there were a few more on the other gable end, on the aerial and in the tree pretending not to be involved in the decision! TTTW
