There is a 12x50 B1 non-HD model for sale locally near me for $300 USD.

I have B1 10x42 HD and love them. Does anyone have experience with the older 12x50?

With my interest in the 12x50 format for the last year now, it sounds like a pretty safe expenditure to make. Looking forward to seeing what more informed posts come in on this one, and maybe if it's not a killer deal, you could get them down a bit on the price?

I've not personally tried them, but from past research the main difference is CA control - excellent in the HDs okay in the older model.
