Thanks for the links and information - do you know if the new Scytalopus will come into the standard "Mouse-coloured" song from SE Brazil? The paper suggest its song is very similar to the SE birds (now 2+spp), although the calls differ.

I'll be at Chapada Diamantina in about a month so any additional information on good locations for it (or indeed the new antwren) would be most welcome.
