The Barn owl was seen on our way to RSPB Minsmere sitting on top of a Bus shelter ( I dont think it was waiting for a Bus), A good first day for us hope to beat Last years total of 135

Another good day spent at RSPB Buckenham Marshes, walked nearly to Cantley to see bean geese but no luck today

RSPB Surlingham Church Fen

A bright and sunny afternoon and not too cold but the track was heavy going after all the recent rain.We had our first sighting of a Great Spotted Woodpecker which was a real highlight of the afternoon.

Another great day at Minsmere RSPB, saw the Smew which was a Lifer for me and Dawn but missed out on the Green Winged Teal

RSPB Lakenheath Suffolk

A very chilly start but sunny. Our first time here and we weren't disappointed,we had our first sighting of a Gt Grey Shrike and some nice sightings of our favourites.Also saw Roe Deer and Muntjac Deer.

RSPB Strumpshaw Fen Norfolk

A good day at Strumpshaw saw the Green Winged Teal from the Reception Hide, missed out on the Penduline Tit, lovely walk through the woods nice to see all the snow drops, on the way home saw 2 Black Swans.

RSPB Minsmere

Foggy start but dry for a while then the rain started and didn't stop,so we were'nt at Minsmere as long as usual.Our first sighting of a Bullfinch which was good.

A great day birding started at RSPB Titchwell then went further along the coast to Cley, we then headed back inland to Sculthorpe Moor Reserve, we had never been before and we would highly recommend the site

Visited 2 sites today that we have never visited before, the first was Santon Downham and we walked the Orange trail, and then on to the NWT East Wretham Heath Reserve really lovely site and well worth the visit

Good day birding at RSPB Strumpshaw also went to Wood Lane Farm to see if we could spot the Cattle Egret, and it was sitting in the farm on top of the hay bales, a lifer for us so was good to see it.

We had a walk round the Roman Village at Caister today, a really lovely walk lots of the usual birds and the Jackdaws sat in the center of the village

A very cold and windy morning at RSPB Strumpsham Norfolk, not a lot of birds about today, just the normal waterfowl

Our first visit to Welney and it was really good.We had a lovely sighting of a Kingfisher from the Visitors Centre and another good sighting of a Ruddy Shelduck which is a Lifer for us.

Another great day at Lackford Lakes, Suffolk, Plenty of birds about including, Golden Eye, Barnacle Geese, Little Grebe and the Canvasback, we also saw Muntjac Deer in 3 different places

A lovely morning at RSPB Minsmere Suffolk and plenty to see,the highlight being the six Marsh Harriers displaying in front of the Island Hide.We also heard the Bitterns but didn't see them,we also saw a Caspian Gull and first sightings this year of a Sand Martin and Willow Warbler

Martham Broad & Horsey Mill Area, Norfolk

A great morning,warm and sunny and some very good sightings.We had a brilliant sighting of five Cranes flying overhead and a Common Buzzard flying over the reedbed and also saw Skylarks all of which are Lifers for us.
