RSPB Strumpshaw Fen Norfolk

A cold and misty morning, a typical Easter Sunday.Lots of Warblers about and saw our first Swallows of the year.

RSPB Strumpshaw Fen Norfolk

A lovely sunny day but very windy and chilly.Had our first sighting of a Tree Pipit, Blackcaps and Sedge Warblers were singing there hearts out

NWT HICKLING BROAD NORFOLK

A lovely sunny morning but very windy and chilly.Very quite on the reserve today but saw two Cranes and a Red Kite flying over the reserve and several Marsh Harriers displaying.

RSPB Strumpshaw Fen

Lovely sunny afternoon,not a huge amount to see but we had a good sighting of a Hobby and a Ferruginous Duck.Also lots of Butterflies about and a lovely sighting of a Stoat.

RSPB Minsmere

A great day at Minsmere mainly warm and sunny.Had some great sightings today including Bittern,Yellow Wagtails,Grey Plovers,Common and Little Terns and Bearded Tits(Reedlings).Also saw a large herd of Red Deer near to Minsmere.

RSPB Lakenheath Fen

A good morning at Lakenheath but very windy.Heard the Cuckoo but did'nt see it or see the Golden Oriole.Had lovely sighting of a Greylag with young and several sightings of Whitethroat

Westleton Heath Suffolk

A damp and early start to the day but it soon cleared and we even saw a glimpse of the sun.Had some good sightings of Woodlarks and a Nightjar.Also saw a Stoat chasing a Blackbird.

RSPB Minsmere Suffolk

A very windy morning with a few heavy showers. Had a really good sighting of a Great Spotted Woodpecker in the woods near the Bittern Hide, he was there for ages. Also had a nice sighting of 4 Red Deer and later a Muntjac.

A very sunny day visited new hide at Titchwell that opened today, Had some new sightings for this year including Spoonbill,Whimbrel and Corn Bunting so a good day's Birding.
