Hello everyone! I recorded this bird yesterday in a crop area in Guadalajara (Spain). I have already obtained an ID with Merlin app, but I would like a second opinion because the app took a while to recognize it and it might be wrong.
The bird I want to identify belongs to the family Alaudidae, so don't worry about other birds appearing in the audio too (for example, corn buntings (Emberiza calandra)).
Two things to note, by the way:
-The bird can be heard throughout all the recording, but the quality is better during the second half, especially at the end.
-At least on my computer, the recording is best heard with headphones.
