Baya Weaver? S. Thailand id help please (1 Viewer)

Hi, attached are several photos of a bird I took at about 10:30 am in Hat Yai, S Thailand. I was in a bit of scrub pasture with a stream going through but no rice paddies within a kilometer or more.
The best id I can come up with is a female or non-breeding male Baya Weaver but not 100% confident of my id and always hopeful of something more exotic:) The Weavers I have seen have always been in groups of at least 5 or more, never a single as this one was.
Id help much appreciated. The 4th photo I tried to lighten but I may have adjusted the colour as well. The others were just cropped.
thank you in advance
steve
