What has happened to the BINS website, I have been trying to open the site for some weeks, just get the 'not found' label.

I was wondering the same thing. It's been down for a couple of weeks now. I can't find any site that has Suffolk bird sightings now.

I am so disappointed as I was expecting a thread on binoculars.

The website got shut down because the owner could no longer afford to run it. My dad was quite disappointed as he liked the site. I don't believe the site offered memberships or had any systems for donations. Disappointing, it was the only site that did Suffolk.

Hopefully there should be a replacement soon. The guys running it had issues with Freewebs so are trying to migrate to a new system. It started in 2006 so there is a lot of information there - it's been a great resource over those years.
