Hello. I'm visiting a conference in Eegmond aan Zee next week (first week of april). Are there any good birding places in the area? What species of migrants can be expected to see this early in spring?

Pretty much the whole coastal dunes area, north and south of Eegmond should be good for early migrants. Texel Island is also just a short train ride away and is one of the best areas in the country during migration.

If you are at a conference you may not get too far. Note that for most of the dunes around Egmond you need an entrance ticket (widely available).
The website to check is Waarneming.nl
You can search by location which may help (e.g. Waarneming.nl then you can even set the language to Norwegian.
Next week the weather looks rather horrible... If you have some time, the Putten (Camperduin - De Putten) are worth a visit. The best site for waders in the area, with Spoonbill, Avocet and Sandwich Tern likely; with some luck Bearded Tit as well. It is also a good spot to find birders.
In the dunes south of Egmond, you could find Black-necked Grebe (Geoorde Fuut - Podiceps nigricollis), Wood Lark, Bluethroat, Stonechat.
The area north of Egmond is less popular for some reason.
