Blackcaps today (1 Viewer)

I was surprised and delighted to find I have three over-wintering Blackcaps in my garden today, all male. We usually have one each winter.

One turned up today, first time I've seen one in the garden. Seems to be taking up residence for the duration,done nothing all day but decimate the Mahonia flowers totally ignoring all the feeders.

I've never seen a blackcap on a feeder, mine all use bird tables and eat berries.

First time I'd had one in the garden so didn't know what they preferred, it also ignored the resident Robin and Blackbirds' ground feeding area right by the Mahonia.
