Common frog uk (3 Viewers)

I’ve had a small garden pond for many years and frogs have always returned every spring to produce plenty of frogspawn. This year there’s no sign of them and I know they are mating locally elsewhere ( I’m in East Cheshire ). Hopefully, they’ll turn up soon, but is anyone else experiencing the same ?

Had quite a bit of frog spawn in my pond deposited in the last fortnight, but I am in the milder west London suburbs. Down the road from me is a country park & had a look this afternoon & couldn't see any sign of amphibian activity.

It’s been a milder and wetter than average winter round here so getting to March with no sign seems odd. They had a successful season last year with certainly more than the usual number of young leaving the pond too.
