hello,
just a few pictures from Leven/Methil powerstation , Fife.

in the short time i was there approx 1hr. i managed too get a few pictures off Common Terns, some were feeding on small fish.

Great snaps from one of my many local patches! There was a gannet very close in plus quite a few terns. Saw a RT Diver there today plus all those goosander and eider but tide was high so very few gulls today!

Hi there F1F3R.

When at Methil have you evertried the other side of the Leven. Up on the sea wall just outside East Fife football stadium. The water is a little deeper there and I have had LTD, Velvet scoter plus divers close in there if it is other photo oppertunities you are looking for.

hi J,

this morning at 7:30 am i went down too the powerstation for a wee while again.. brilliant place too be first thing... loads off terns diving again, plus all the usual sea birds... but also i counted around 30 goosanders . :eek!:
while looking at the terns diving for the small fish ... a razorbill appeared only meters away and was swimming around under water directly below me also chasing the fish... brilliant. i even managed a photo off it under water.

regarding the sea wall :
been there a few times, i will be on sea wall in next few days.. gonna try some sea fishing.

i will take the camera also and hopefully get a pic or 2.

thats about all the pictures i have ..not too bad considering i was only out for and 1 hr on day 1 and same on day 2.

great pics, they are difficult to catch so you must have been persistent. What equipment did you use ?

i used a Canon 350d and Canon 400L f5.6. ( handheld on all pics )
