Has anyone got any got any good places to find crested kingfishers in THE SUMMER - AUTUMN in KYUSHU?
Any reply would be helpful!

They certainly occur at Lake Miike, which is a good general place for birding. I saw them there in the winter, and I assume they can be seen throughout the year.

I had one at the confluence of Uranomyo & Oyodo Rivers near Miyazaki in 2020. As with Andrew this was winter but I assume they are resident.
